Hi guys,
need an opinion here. I mostly play STT (SNG´s), currently in the micro-level area. Do you think I could benefit from joining PXF, even at this level ??? I heard Rizen has quite some good vids up there, and I really want to improve my game ... Currently I am a losing player, and despite a failed experiment at 2-tabling, I have cashed in about 40 % to 50 % of the last thirty to forty SNG´s I played.
Thanks for an honest answer !!! Need help !
Cheers, beat
PS. If I were to start playing MTT´s are there vids and stuff for beginners in that area ???

Rizen doesn't have any SNG videos but Sheets SNG Lectures are a must see for any serious sng player imo.

Sheets' videos are well worth watching. Innisint and Beanmo have good material too. You can learn from these folks no matter your current skill level.

You can search for SNG material on the site. It will be worth it, but if you want to try something cheaper first, the SNG book by Colin Moshman is good.

Sheets SNG lectures are awesome for the ICM stuff, and Beanmo is as good a SNG teacher as I have seen, his videos are awesome.

hire jennifear - just google jennifear
i'm like you - a low stt guy and i did both of the above. both will open your eyes to new concepts. colin in general and jen very specific to your game.
i plan on joining pxf too in october

I was a member of PXF until Rizen sold himself to UB. That was my last day. I feel that his integrity, if he ever had any, went down the toilet that day.
It seems to me that Rizen is more interested in giving special attention to certain players with the sole purpose of backing them to fatten his wallet anyway. The rest of the members are more or less just another paycheck for him, imo. In other words, Rizen is all about money, period, and nothing more.
You might learn some things from their video's but you'll very seldom, if ever, get any of your burning poker questions answered by the staff from my experience. Your best bet, if you decide to join, would be to actively participate in the member's forum area, where you'll have a much better chance of getting help from your peers than from the staff. Heck, you can do that for free in this and other forums. I have since joined, what I feel to be, a much superior training site. I've already put their training to good use.

You can say whatever you want about my joining UB then quitting, definitely entitled to your opinions and I respect that even if I disagree. That being said, I've never backed a player in my life (nor do I currently have plans to).
Also, several pros frequent the forums on a regular basis, although not all of them do.
I won't get into any of the other items as to not derail the thread, but just wanted to clear those two facts up.
