Stox poker & Colin Moshman's book.

PokerXFactor for SNGs. I believe that, asside from the basic strategy,  learning SNGs is largely about learning behind the mathematics behind the game. Sheets does an amazing job at this and even beyond. Moshman's book is ok, but he can't match the sheer number of explinations of situations Sheets does. He gets much more in detail about specific strategies, techniques and situations.

After having watched Sheet's videos a lot to learn some strategy, I found Moshman's book to do me no good. A lot of times he uses situations, says what he would do, and while he's right, he would give little to no explination as to why he would play a hand the way he did. I found his evaluation of equity to be helpful, but that's about it. I've also watched some SNG videos on Cardrunners and have found them to be terrible at explaining specific strategies as to 'proper' reasons for making plays.

Which & who's video's are you referring to in CardRunners? Jackal69? Just curious as I was going to sign up for the day pass at CR just to watch SNG vids. You might want to consider SNGicons as well. Some of the early vids are very unprofessional but the vids by FieryJustice & z32fanatic are great.
