seems silly...how am i gonna be in for >5k now? 

They cap it becouse you get 25K chips and tourney will take to long time otherweise.. I obv disagree wcoop is all about long tourneys...

ps. the 300 2nd chance is capped at 2k...w/e

Are you nuts pokerstars? This is WCOOP not kindergarden. Anyone who signs up knows it's going to take a long time to finish.

Why would pokerstars ever cap the 1k 2nd chance to 500  players....I swear they don't like money........makes no sense whatsoever 

yeah the caps are stupid and then they allow pre-registration (8 already in the the 1K 20 min before it starts registering) 8 isn't alot but this thing will fill and people will be pissed.

terrible planning for wcoop stars, seriously, talk to your players and find out what they want

 I asked barryg to help us get it removed, and he's done what he can.  He said his message got through and is being sent to someone with authority, so hopefully they'll listen.

Barry emailed ps and:

 BARRY AND A STARS HOST JUST INFORMED OUR TABLE THE CAP IS REMOVED!  weeeeeeeeee  However, it will still say that's there's a cap in the lobby or else it would screw up late registration.  They say they're going to put a note in the lobby that there is no cap.
