Hi guys,
Quick explanation:
Late registration is not enabled if the number of players who sign up is less than the max number of places which can be paid in the tournament (this prevents pay table breakage, essentially... some of you may recall the Sunday $215 a couple of years ago in which they pay table broke). Therefore, the 2nd Chance tournaments were deployed with relatively low caps to make sure that as many people who want to play can join. If that sounds backwards, consider those who sign up late. The tournaments are being closely monitored and 2nd Chance #06 has been re-deployed just moments ago to the highest point in the pay table possible right now.
We certainly want as many people who wish to play to get a chance to play. But don't worry, we don't just put tournaments out and then leave them... if there are modifications needed to the cap to let more people in while still making sure that late registration will be available, we'll take care of that. :)
