The 2016 PokerStars World Championship of Poker entered its second week with plenty of high stakes action including the start of the $102,000 Super High Roller event that played down to a final table. There were five WCOOP events that wrapped up on Sunday alongside the regular Sunday Majors action with some of the biggest names in poker walking away with titles.

The biggest winner on the day was ‘bambooeater‘ who walked away with $162,000 after winning the $10,300 Heads-Up NLHE High Roller event. ‘bambooeater’ beat out 35 other players, including Phil ‘Grindation’ Mcallister, his semi-final opponent and his final opponent ‘SamRostan’, for the largest online score of his career.

Joel ‘jbrown8777’ Brown, who won beat Fedor Holz to win his first WCOOP title last year, added a second victory to his resume after taking down the $530 No Limit Hold’em w/Progressive KO
for $97,819.34
. Brown outlasted 1,717 other players to win the event and earned an additional $14,218.80 in bounties along the way.

Dzmitry ‘Colisea’ Urbanovich also added another WCOOP title to his impressive list of career accomplishments. Urbanovich banked $54,217.80 for winning $1,050 Six Max No Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Championship. Urbanovich beat out a final table that included Billy Argyros, Benny Spindler and Zhao ‘zzwwzzwwzz’ Wei for his second WCOOP win.

The last player to leave Sunday’s action with a WCOOP title was ‘pokerturo’ who beat out 3,782 other players, including his last opponent Steve ‘Mr. Tim Caum’ O’Dwyer, to win the $109 Six Max No Limit Hold’em for $54,096.92.

The rest of the Sunday Majors also carried on with only the PokerStars Sunday Million scheduled for two days. The biggest name to win a non-WCOOP event on Sunday was Justin Bonomo who took down the PokerStars Super-Sized Sunday for $51,933.51.
